A Note on This Beer
PSA: According to the North American Blueberry Council, blueberry consumption is on the rise.
And, after a sumptuous sip of today’s Saison Violette, we think Allagash is largely responsible for the increase!
Every tart taste tangoes with the tongue, while flirtatious waves of sweet-juice tempt another swig. In fact, there’s so much plump n’drippy berry flavor, we can’t help but wonder what Allagash’s saison secret is!
Turns out Saison Violette is the deliciously delectable product of the wild lowbush blueberry — a delicacy in and of itself!
And, according to the berry council, lowbush blueberries are known to have a more intense, sweet, and succulent flavor than cultivated blueberries.
So, while we can’t fly you to Maine to silence those berry cravings, we can bring some succulent Sainson Violette right to your doorstep. Don’t call the Blueberry Council on us, we’re here to share our stash!
