A Note on This Beer
If you’re a sweet tooth like me, Girl Scout cookie season is the best time of year. As I empty the last sleeve of my stash, I can’t help but wonder: why don’t Girl Scouts sell cookies year-round?
That’s why I am so excited about today’s Samoa DeLite from Four Fathers Brewing! This dessert in a glass is the answer to every cookie fiend’s prayers.
Now you can enjoy the delicious taste of Samoa cookies (called Caramel deLites in some states) without having to scour your local grocery store to track down those elusive Girl Scouts.
Four Fathers has been refining this dessert beer for three years, and every year their Indiana taproom runs dry as fans flock to get their cookie fix. And since Four Fathers can’t be found outside of Indiana except from Tavour, our members get the jump on this sweet brew.
Sipping this Imperial Milk Stout is like eating a whole box of cookies but better because it comes with a 7.5% ABV buzz! Toasted coconut mingles with dark chocolate for a body that is smooth as silk. Buttery caramel and hints of vanilla finish this sweet nectar with a creamy mouthfeel.
This decadent beer could be a substitute for dessert, or it could be the whole meal, which totally happens when I get my hands on a box of Samoas. Hey, we’re not judging here!
Just as Girl Scout cookie season comes and goes faster than we’d like, Samoa DeLite won’t be around forever. Be sure to stock up on this sweet brew before it’s gone for the season.
