About This Beer
Great Notion and their pals at San Diego’s Bottlecraft stuffed a tangy Sour Ale base with a mountain of pineapple and coconut, giving it big piña colada vibes. Then they amped it up with a dash of vanilla and a squeeze of lime.
Tasting Notes
Full-bodied swigs fly in on creamy coconut notes followed by sweet-tart tropical juice. Zesty citrus skitters around the periphery, before it fades into silky ‘nilla on the tail end.

Flavor was heavy on the lime and unripened pineapple. There was a slight aftertaste of coconut but honestly, I was expecting more of a coconut flavor. It wasn’t overly sour and I liked it, just wish there was more coconut or even a sweeter pineapple taste.
