About This Beer
The Aslin team crafted it by aging a full-bodied Imperial Stout in bourbon barrels, allowing it to soak up plenty of oaky whiskey caramel. Then they conditioned it on coffee, cocoa nibs, coconut, vanilla, and macadamia nuts for extra decadence.
Tasting Notes
Each velvety swig glides across your palate with waves of dark chocolate fudge and silky tropical nuttiness. The Mounds Bar tones ease into crème brûlée nuances toward the finish, and, after a few years maturing in Aslin’s cellar, this 16.5% ABV brew is smoother than ever.
