About This Beer
One does not simply walk into Mordor — not without some Sauron’s Nightlight on you, at least!
If Frodo had some of this decadent Porter with him, he could have casually waltzed into the land where the shadows lie. Heck, the craft wizards at Brick & Feather brewed it with so much rich, robust flavor, it’s more tempting than the One Ring itself!
Tasting Notes
It’s a gift that pours black as night, drawing you in with a roasty nose. Sauron himself would’ve personally welcomed the Hobbits to Mordor for this silky-smooth sip of baker’s chocolate and nutty coffee. Lingering notes of fig and smoke hang in the darkness like Smeagol as the 7.3% ABV lights the path to even more flavor.

Roasty coffee aroma, espresso and dark chocolate tastes with a hint of dried fruit, malty, robust silky mouthfeel, and dry strong coffee finish.

Great porter. Not spectacular. But a really solid option.

Dark chocolate and roasted malt in the aroma. A bit of semisweet chocolate and cocoa up front in taste followed by more roasted malt along with some char.

Getting my LOTR geek on ! Big Robust Porter with lots of roastiness, coffee and chocolate notes. A bit light in body but very rich and robust flavor profile.

Pours pitch black without much foam. Smells a little like toasted malts. Tastes smoky, crisp, dry with some chocolate sweetness. Medium bodied, bubbly feel.
