Tasting Notes

Crack open the can, and aromas of clove, nutmeg, and ripe banana invigorate the senses. The first sip flows with notes of vanilla, malt and a kiss of citrus. A hint of Noble Hops balances the full, fruity flavors, and the finish is smattered with coriander and cracked black pepper.

Bought based on the description alone, and it’s the first time I’ve ever bought a full allotment from Tavour. This did not disappoint! Absolutely among the best of the style, up there with the beers I’ve had in Germany.

Characteristically strong scent of banana and clove. Unfiltered and opaque, with a golden hue. Thick foamy head, strong retention. Quite mild flavors of fruit and spice, surprisingly weak and watery. Light to medium body, with a sparkling, effervescent mouthfeel. Fresh, crisp finish.

Truly unique for an American weissbier...lightly sweet as expected, but also malty and crisp, like a Ritz cracker dusted with sugar. Expertly crafted and delicate in flavor.

wonderful hefe. I think this did a great job hitting what a European hefe tastes like. would definitely get this again. Great for drinking on a hit day or on the porch in the rain.
