A Note on This Beer
When I was a kid, it felt like my parents sent me to scout camp as a form of deranged punishment.
My troop would stay in these drafty, wooden cabins that were barely a step up from lean-tos, or worse — sleep in tiny tents out on the grass, completely at the mercy of grizzly bears, raccoons, or any number of scary bugs.
But, after a muddy, all-day hike in the woods, we’d gather around the campfire for s’mores — and somehow, it all felt worth it.
Today’s Scout Camp Imperial Porter from Junkyard tastes just like a well-earned, ooey-gooey campfire treat. Each creamy, full-bodied sip delights with the flavors of toasted marshmallows, graham crackers, and milk chocolate. It’s so velvety and sippable, you’ll hardly notice the massive 11.2% ABV.
Fans on Untappd keep asking for some more s’mores, raving:
- “Maybe the smoothest [11.2%] beer I’ve ever had. Reminds me of gingerbread stout.” @Jake L.
- “This Beer is LIT. Favorite beer from Junkyard!” @Andrew H.
- “Tastes like a campfire on a cool summer night . . .”@Hayden H.
I wish I had an endless amount of this chocolatey-marshmallow goodness to share, but I’ve only got 416 cans to go around! So, you’ll wanna act fast, before this beer becomes like camp — just a distant memory.
