If this English Brown Ale were any more authentic, it’d have to be poured straight from the barrel in an old school pub in foggy London! Even the festivals are praising this spot-on brew — it won a gold medal and the title of Best in Show at the Maryland Craft Beer Competition!

Tasting Notes

Each crisp, nutty sip wraps the tongue in roasty coffee notes and tinges of caramel-like sweetness. Like the soft, mouthwatering interior of freshly baked bread, it goes down smooth and oh-so-easy. And thanks to its crushable ABV, you can tip back a pint or two and still make it home in time for tea.

Nice sipper but not exceptional

a solid brown ale. in the middle between sweetness/nuttiness and roasty/toasty. I personally like my brown ales a little more on the roasty side (reminiscent of a lighter, sweeter stout), but this balances nicely between the classic nutty notes and toast.

A really tasty Nutty, malty flavor, followed by just a little sweetness. Sometimes nut brown ales can be too heavy or too sweet but this one is perfect.
