A Note on This Beer
I’ll admit that I was a little puzzled after hearing Thrillist call Resident Culture one of the Best Breweries in Charlotte for crafting “IPAs that don’t taste like the traditional IPA.”
But then I got a taste of Second Coming, and now it makes SO much sense!
The brewers harness the power of some of the newest hops on the market to craft this uniquely flavored juicebomb. Sabro and Strata Hops lend nuances of lemony citrus and potent pineapple tang. Then comes a totally unexpected, yet very welcome flavor of wild mint from the addition of Experimental Hop HBC 692.
It tastes like a piña colada with a mojito float — deliciously smooth and tangy, with a refreshing splash of minty coolness!
It’s an exciting concerto of flavor, only made possible by the new hops. Both Sabro and HBC 692 Hops are just 2 years old! And they really only started to make appearances at breweries within the last year.
If you only like the more “traditional” IPAs, then don’t even think about hitting that ‘Get It’ button! Only craft fans who are ready for new and exciting hop flavors should snag a stash of Second Coming.
Which, they’d better do fast — Tavour is the only place outside of Charlotte, North Carolina to get it!
