About This Beer
Known for creating weird and wonderful flavors by combining fresh, local ingredients, the Heathen brewers cater to sippers with a sense of adventure.
They packed Seeds of Darkness: Hubris with confident quantities of Oregon blueberry puree and four different varieties of fresh basil — lime, blue spice, sweet Italian, and cinnamon — grown by their neighbors at Flat Tack Farm.
Tasting Notes
A tangy base collides with juicy berry tones and basil’s unique herbal nuances in an ultra refreshing sip. And each basil adds its own layered notes of peppery spice, verdant coolness, and zestiness to the audaciously tart and fruity Sour.

Beets, basil, not so much berries. Light tartness, well balanced. My kind of brew.

Reminded me more of a seltzer than a sour, and never the less, it was good.

Didn’t note the blueberry as much. Not a big fan of sours, so this didn’t really disappoint.
