About This Beer

For this new version, Gabe Fletcher and his team let a rich and complex base Stout mature for 23 months in Hemingway Rye Whiskey barrels. Then they finished it on toasted coconut, raw coconut, and hazelnut.

Tasting Notes

We’re expecting deep notes of hazelnut coffee to collide with chocolate-covered coconut macaroon nuances with every sumptuous sip. Nearly two years in oak should translate to exquisite layers of top-shelf whiskey, rye spice, and oaky tannins. And coming from the Anchorage crew, the bold 18.1% ABV ought to go down impressively smooth!

Deep chocolate booziness immediately hits you, followed by a crazy rich sweetness. I don’t get the vanilla as much, but this is seriously tasty. Awesome stuff

Absolutely delicious!! Loved the taste, nutty and rich in the beginning with the sweet swirl of barrel aged after taste. Fantastic! Keep ‘em comin!!!

OMG this is like drinking a super deliciously thick coffee chocolately vanilla amazingly goodness cereal in liquid form that’ll make you lick your lips consistently. A must try and buy again!
