A Note on This Beer
Unless you plan to stock up on enough cans of today’s Shadow Factory: Cranberry + Boysenberry Fruited Sour Ale to share with every one of your buddies, you definitely don’t want to be too generous with this one.
See, outside of Colorado, it’s nearly impossible to get your hands on a beer from the 3x GABF award-winners at Black Project.
This tiny brewery specializes in spontaneously fermented Wild Ales and their batches are so small, new batches rarely leave the taproom, let alone the state. In fact, most folks are forced to part with their entire stash of 450 North and De Garde just to have the chance at a few cans.
Luckily, you’re not ‘most folks.’
And you’ve got exclusive access to the only stash of this 4.30 UT-rated treat leaving Colorado.
Which means by snagging a few, you’ll be one of the first people outside of the state to experience the layers of fruity, jammy, mouth-puckering goodness brimming from today’s beer.
Heck, you might even get the jump on your craftiest buds who will wonder how in the world you managed to score such a highly-coveted, small-batch sipper. Before they ask for a taste, of course.
So go ahead, brag to everyone you know about how you’ve got the hookup to some of the fruitiest and hardest-to-find Sours to come out of the Rockies. Just don’t be surprised when your stash of today’s cranberry and boysenberry-loaded brew goes missing.
On second thought, maybe you should just keep this one to yourself.
