About This Beer
Parish combined Pinot Noir grapes and black currants in a Berliner Weisse-style Sour base to make this super juicy refresher.
Tasting Notes
Rich nuances of red wine and jammy berries ripple through every taste, accenting the tart brew with ripe summer sweetness. Subtle tannins twinkle in its light effervescence, giving it a mildly dry finish.
Add to that a sessionable ABV, and this beer makes you want to pack a picnic — even if you’re only going as far as the couch.

A little but of a jammy flavor, I like the pinot profile coming through

Very nice and fruity. More black currant than grape, although there's some dryness and tannin that I assume comes from the grapes. A bit tart but just enough to be refreshing.

Not bad, I should have served it a little colder. The hint of grape adds a nice flavor.

I'm surprised this score isn't higher. This was incredible and very well balanced. I think people oh this app like super sweet beers and this is more of a wine palette obviously

Wasn’t what I was expecting. Didn’t catch any black currant

Grapey and fruity, needs more black currant flavor. Good if you want a tart grape beer, not so good if you want a tart currant/grape beer.

Man this is refreshingly good. So easy to crush and the flavors are that of a nice mellow berry wine cooler. Would definitely buy a bunch of these for summer gatherings.

I love Parish Brewing Co. And all of their SIPS, this one is good - not my favorite (Sunrise) but still a solid performer - a little more grape than I prefer, but all around a good beer!

Lovely sweetness from the Pinot grapes, and the currant ties everything together.

Loved the color and the simplicity. It tasted like a wonderfully elevated cheap wine. In a good way!

Maybe I’d like this if I liked wine?

The flavors are delicious, really good combo...I just have one weird complaint: it ends too quickly, the flavors on the palate don't linger, and I want a bit more of that lingering because the flavors are that good.

It was delicious, almost thought I was drinking wine… haha

Ordered from Tavour, chilled and poured into a pint glass. Look: clear to cloudy pink hue with a quarter size pink head of foam that dissipated quickly leaving a small ring of foam and light cream colored lacing down the glass as we drank. Smell: light malty and carbonated Pinot grapes that have a shallow underlying earthy and fruity note that smells crips. Taste: light but slightly sour grapes up front, followed by earthy and almost oaky notes that dissipated into a shallow fruit note I am assuming is black currant. No booze and no hop, not really sour, more refreshing than anything else. Feel: light bodied with a nice tickle of carbonation that lingered as it warmed. Crisp finish, almost drying. Overall this is an interesting kettle sour that is light, somewhat fruity and not really sour. The earthy notes are a little weird, but other than that this is a good beer for a warm summer day. Cheers!

Sour and bright, this really wakes you up with a pucker punch and fills your mouth with that pinot grape flavor.
