This is the first time we’ve ever featured anything from Moersleutel Craft Brewery and we couldn’t be more excited! All the way from the Netherlands, these guys are taking Europe by storm!

Created by four brothers, Moersleutel, or “wrench” in Dutch, was founded on one simple principle — only make beer they like, “high in quality, crazy in taste.” It’s worked well for them, earning their beer (particularly their Stouts) some well deserved notoriety.

Today’s beer is a great example of what they’re all about. And, you don’t have to trek overseas to get it!

For this “Smeerolie” (“lubricating oil” in Dutch), the brewers infused a roasty Stout with mountains of coconut, cocoa nibs, and vanilla. The brew brims with sweet, tropical flavor and luscious, creamy notes interwoven with rich, decadent cocoa. Each sip is luxuriously thick and velvety smooth with next to no trace of the 10% ABV.
