About This Beer
The celebrated Colorado crew at River North created a complex, belly-warming sipper full of malty caramel nuances.
Tasting Notes
Fragrant honey and a glimmer of citrus waft from every golden pour. Tantalizing tastes akin to brioche bread pudding drizzled with boozy toffee sauce fill each dry, medium-bodied sip, followed by a balancing bitter finish.

good but not great. not sure what I was expecting. thinking it is close to an esb style.

A deep copper hue color that's slightly bitter throughout yet has delicate toffee notes dancing in every sip

Served at 50 degrees. Has a nice balance of sweet and bitter, though leans a bit towards bitter. A hint of high ABV barleywine flavor comes through but tempered by the wheat. Worth buying, but be sure not to chill it too cold.

I think I was expecting more sweetness to balance out the bitterness. while I’ve had several wheatwines this one seemed lacking somewhat. definitely gains complexity as it warms.

A little malty. A little boozy. But a little bitter, too.

solid example of a wheat wine. smooth and not too boozy in taste but boozy on nose.
