About This Beer
When I was a kid, waiters wouldn’t even have time to get their greetings out before I demanded my drink of choice: root beer, please.
I thought it was the perfect drink! Mellow, creamy, syrupy sweet. So when I saw that the brilliant brewers at Ingenious adultified that tried and true favorite, I had high expectations. And boy oh boy were they met! The crew at Ingenious conditioned this Cream Ale on root beer soda syrup and vanilla beans for that authentic flavor.
Tasting Notes
Every swig delivers that nostalgic sassafras flavor. Vanilla beans bring warm, balancing notes, like a dollop of melty ice cream in a frothy float.

Really smells and tastes like a creamy old fashioned soda shop root beer. Maybe a bit too syrupy/sweet though.

Without a doubt, this is a sweet lover’s dream: literally an alcoholic root beer float. The color, carbonation, aroma, and flavor are shockingly perfect.
The only reason why my rating is not higher is because it does have an unusual, artificial aftertaste which may not be to everyone’s liking.
