When New Anthem released Songs Unsung in 2019, it took the craft scene by storm. And, not just a piddly spring dizzle — we’re talking about a massive, roiling rain cloud and a Thor-esque lightning strike cyclone! 

This New England Hazy was labeled one of THE IPAs of the year. Craft Beer & Brewing gave it a perfect 100/100 score and put it on their list of the 19 Best Beers of 2019. They called it a “gorgeous achievement.”

What makes Songs Unsung so singular is the brew’s ultimately lush, tropical juiciness imparted by an ingenious blend of Citra and Vic Secret Hops! Aromatic grapefruit and kiwi greet the nose, while huge flavors of guava and pineapple haze wash over the palate. Nectarous peach and sweet orange shine through each sip. A pungent pine vapor adds a smack of resiny bitterness. 

In addition to all this hoppy goodness, Songs Unsung has a beautiful biscuity backbone of pale and honey malts, and drinks as smooth as a bunny’s ear from additions of texturizing oats.

But, like any rumbling storm cloud, we predict our stash will be here and then gone pretty quick, especially since this brew is nearly impossible to find outside of North Carolina. Move fast to snag your cans before they blow away!
