A Note on This Beer
If craft brewers were painters, Motu Hops would be one of those rare colors that only the bold use and only the talented master.
So, get ready to call Lupulin Brewing “Picasso!”
These Midwest GABF Medalists painted their brand new IPA, Sophistry 04, with an insane amount of tropical nectar from Motu. When used correctly, this new hop blend from New Zealand boasts huge, lush fruit flavors.
And man, did Lupulin craft a freakin’ masterpiece. One sip of this 7.5% ABV beauty and it’s so juicy-fresh, it’s hard to believe there’s no added fruit or juice!
Those Van Goghs of craft didn’t even stop with their Motu blend. They amped this piece of art even further with citrus-soaked stonefruit from a massive dry hopping of Citra and Sabro Hops.
The result is an ultra-lush brew that drenches the palate in full blasts of mango, peach, and papaya! Like a colorful Matisse painting you can’t stop staring at, further splashes of grapefruit and orange citrus make Sophistry 04 all too easy to suck down.
This is the latest edition of the Sophistry IPA series, which means it’s highly limited. It also means Lupulin won’t duplicate their hop combo anytime soon (if ever). So, you’ll want to snag as much of this rare work of art while you can.
Then, when your buddies come over and start arguing over who brought the best beer, you can stun them all by whipping out a can of Sophistry 04 and proclaiming, “I’ve got your Mona Lisa of craft right here!”
This beer is too new for ratings!
