One taste of today’s Sophistry 05, and you’ll swear the Midwest GABF Medalists at Lupulin Brewing used some kind of crazy additives. 

I mean, this IPA pours so smooth and THICK, it seems there’s gotta be lactose in it. But no! That luxurious mouthfeel is all thanks to heaps of flaked oats and flaked wheat malts!

And those ultra-dank, lushly tropical flavors? This brew DRIPS with citrus and tastes like fresh-squeezed OJ with a burst of passionfruit. There’s gotta be some kind of actual fruit in here, right?

Wrong again! That immensely juicy taste is all from a massive five-way combo of Citra, Ekuanot Cryo, Rakau, Galaxy, and Falconers Flight Hops. 

Though they won’t tell us the exact quantities, Lupulin says they loaded both the whirlpool and the dry hop with more hops than we’ve ever seen in the Sophistry series! 

While other breweries use additional ingredients for big flavors and a mouthfeel you never want to leave your tongue, Lupulin reaches these depths through hops and malts alone! 

And that’s what makes Sophistry fans like @Ken R. and @Mark D. cry out “Love that stuff!!!” Accompanied by giant, thirsty bunny gifs on the Facebook release announcement. 

Don’t wait for the next batch of Sophistry to come around. Lupulin never repeats this series’ hoppy lineup!
