A Note on This Beer
Craft fans in the Pacific Northwest are gearing up for the hopocalypse.
No, there aren’t beer-thirsty zombies roaming the streets or aliens abducting fridges in the middle of the night…but there is a dire shortage of hop-forward, dank-as-hell, West Coast-style IPAs as the rest of the country sips on juicebombs!
So when the GABF award-winning brewers at Olympia’s Three Magnets told me that today’s Sorry, Not Sorry IPA was packed with the resinous, hoppy flavors I’ve been craving, I just knew I had to share it with you all to bring this shortage to an end!
It’s no-B.S. beers like today’s that earned Three Magnets a spot in so many Pacific Northwest craft fans’ hearts. Draft magazine even called them out as a Brewery to Watch, noting that their beers are “stylistically flawless.”
And their expertise shines through with this take on a clear-as-day West Coast IPA that they canned mere days ago. Unapologetically flying in the face of the current haze trend, Sorry, Not Sorry is brewed using fresh Northwest powerhouse hops: Centennial, Chinook, and Simcoe!
This is your chance to break up the haze in your beer fridge and add a classic style from one of the Northwest’s staple breweries — every sip will have you singing I can see clearly now the haze is gone...
But with only 120 cases of this limited-release brew in existence, it’s every craft fan for themselves during the hopocalypse!
Pop open the can and let aromas of tangerine, lemon, and freshly cut pine trees greet your nose. The first sip teases the palate with bright grapefruit bitterness, while delicate floral notes make themselves known in the middle. With a dry, malty backbone that complements the 7.1% ABV on the finish, this hopbomb leaves your mouth watering for another citrus and pine-soaked taste.
There are a lot of imposter West Coast IPAs out there, but today’s beer sure ain’t one. Pull out a can whenever you’re craving a hoppy kick, and tell your palate sorry, not sorry with every resinous sip.
Sorry, Not Sorry was just released and is too new for ratings!
