About This Beer

I’ve never met a child that didn’t have a sweet tooth. The idea of a toddler proclaiming their preference for savory snacks while biting into a slice of bologna sends chills up my spine.

Enter the mad scientists at Pontoon. Their Sour Smiggles takes the ethos of Saturday morning cartoons and injects them into a Saturday evening brew — making sure that adults get in on the fun, too!

Tasting Notes

This Fruited Berliner Weisse bursts with technicolor flavors! To brew their sour bomb, the crew at Pontoon use their popular Rainbow Smiggle base of ripe strawberry, tropical pineapple, ribbons of vanilla, and boxes of Trix. Then they pour sweet lactose over it like a psychedelic bowl of cereal. But the pièce de résistance is the 300 lbs of Sour Skittles added to each batch!

I really enjoyed this variant over the standard rainbow smiggles. The sour element really rounded out the flavors. Love this brewery can’t wait to try more.
