Our friends at Southern Grist rarely make the same beer twice. From one week to the next, their ENTIRE taplist might change! If a brew does come back more than once a year, it’s because locals demand more. Which is very telling about Southern Crisp Pilsner. The brewers say this is probably the closest thing they have to a “flagship brew,” because people drink it up so fast!
Tasting Notes
Every sip of this unfiltered Pils tastes like a lightly-toasted, honey-drizzled Southern biscuit. Hints of Chardonnay and chamomile accent the malty sweetness along with glimmers of fresh green grapes. A lemony twist and dash of pith on the back end invites another light-bodied swig.
