About This Beer
Inspired by the Bourbon Street staple, the Sazerac, the brewers aged a Strong Ale for a whopping 23 months in Sazerac Straight Rye Whiskey barrels, then let it rest for another month in orange and aromatic bitters barrels. Finally, they conditioned the brew on lemon, orange zest, licorice root, and star anise to simulate the expressive botanical flavor of absinthe.
