To make their succulent Space Nectar so out-of-this-world, the brewers at Moonraker used a “classified” experimental hop variety they won’t reveal to anyone, not even us.

It’s time for us to go undercover à la Austin Powers in The International Man of Mystery and find out just what these brew gurus are up to.

It won’t be easy. Craft Beer & Brewing called Moonraker one of the Country’s Top Breweries for their “jaw-dropping” hops game. That should tell you that this crew knows a thing or two about keeping their hoppy secrets to themselves.

But, amid all the nuances of citrus fruit juice and piney resin, we taste a presence of spiced mangoes and lemon meringue. It takes the flavor experience from just another Hazy IPA, to something that might have been brewed in Area 51! 

That must be thanks to the classified hop.
