The casks imbued the English-style Imperial Porter base with a whole spectrum of rich and complex nuances.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of molasses and oak waft out of the glass, enticing you in. A melange of dark fruit notes swirl together with those treacly tones in each sweet, slightly syrupy dram. Raisin, fig, and dried cherry nuances harmonize with whispers of tobacco, a dash of earthy umami, and an understated vinousness.
