About This Beer
The brew crew at Hoosier must know how much I love cake batter, because they brought chocolate lovers the Imperial Stout we’ve been hankering for: German Chocolate Spiked Cake. This rich sipper spent time stirring with loads of chocolate and coconut, accented with pecan praline and ripe bananas.

Phenomenal. I referred to it as pudding as I poured it. Happy I rolled the can several times. Heavy but not overly sweet. For as thick as it is, it really held a nice carbonation. Deep, dark smooth chocolate. Fresh coconut for days. As we were drinking this and laughing, my husband started singing the jingle, "...Almond Joy's got nuts, Mounds don't..." We were super excited to try a small pour of this over ice cream. It was EXCELLENT over both chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Each one showcasing something different in the beer.

this one stands out. not sure why or how. did pair very well with some eclairs I bought from jewel tho. or at least the frosting.

i rated this high because it legitimately because its crazy how much it tastes like chocolate cake. super sweet so u cant drink a lot. delicious for a craft stout. great beer

Not much of a stout person, or chocolate for that matter, but this is promising and delicious. Drink it with ice cream.
