About This Beer
The GABF-winning crew at Masthead crafted a Stout so velvety and luxurious that fans are calling it “Liquid brownie bourbon.” They made it by aging a super chocolatey base in Stagg Jr. bourbon barrels for 19 months.
Tasting Notes
All that time in booze-soaked oak gave the dark brew complex nuances of top-shelf rye. Flavors of woody spice and brown sugar sweetness come through in each fudgy sip, along with a cherry tinge. And even with a toasty 15.6% ABV, this robust stunner packs an outrageously smooth sip.

Ratings are not nearly accurate IMO. Barrel and booziness are great, but beer is old, musty and oxidized (despite wax top). very disappointed considered $31 price 😠
