A Note on This Beer
Simon and Garfunkel. Batman and Robin. Mary-Kate and Ashley — they’ve got nothing on the dynamic duo that is Barrier and Mumford.
Barrier Brewing snagged First Place in the IPA Category at the 2019 Best Brews in New York Competition. Meanwhile, CBS Los Angeles raves, “Few West Coast breweries are doing [Hazy IPAs] better than Mumford.”
Not even social distancing and an entire continent between them could keep these two powerhouses apart. Communicating from afar, they crafted today’s flavorful force of an IPA!
They double-dry hopped Standard Behavior NE-style IPA with multiple rounds of Citra, Amarillo, and Simcoe Hops. It’s so quenching, it’s hard to believe there’s no actual fruit in it.
Every 7.3% ABV sip bursts brightly with orange and ruby red grapefruit, followed swiftly by notes of passionfruit and earthy pine.
Plus, it’s so smoothly sippable, you’ll probably want to share it with your own far-off friend. But, unless they’re also on Tavour or happen to live near one of the breweries, they’ll just have to watch you taste it on video chat.
