A Note on This Beer
According to the National Peanut Board — which actually exists — you can find a jar of peanut butter in 94% of American homes. As a nation, we love the stuff!
But, do you know what you won’t find in most homes? Today’s The Statement of Purpose Peanut Butter Golden Stout. This nutty treat is a bit harder to track down than a jar of Skippy — you won’t find it in bottleshops anywhere outside of Texas.
Luckily, we have a little stash to share! Take a sip, and let your taste buds tiptoe through ooey, gooey deliciousness from huge additions of real peanut butter. The Golden Stout body is far lighter than a typical peanut butter brew, but it’ll still coat your tongue with that Reese’s flavor!
And, with an 8% ABV, it sure beats the heck out of Nutter Butters.
The crew at Martin House originally made this as a taproom-only one-off last year, but folks just couldn’t get enough! People loved it so much, the brewery decided to bring it back — and in cans this time. When they announced the release, Dallas craft fans mobbed the brewery’s social media, demanding to know where they could get their hands on some.
For you, the answer is right here!
You probably have a jar of peanut butter stashed away somewhere, but you don’t have any Statement of Purpose Golden Stout in your fridge. Yet.
This is the first time The Statement of Purpose has ever been available outside the taproom!
