California craft fans have been hounding the hopmasters at Stone to create their version of a juicy and hazy IPA. And for years, the brewery resisted.

We get it.

Stone has dominated craft beer game for over 20 years and their legacy is built on resinous West Coast-style hopbombs. Heck, they were even named All-Time Top Brewery in the World by BeerAdvocate Magazine. TWICE.

So, why mess with a good thing?

Fans persisted and after years of begging and blowing up social media, Stone finally announced they were releasing today’s Fear. Movie. Lions. Unfiltered DIPA.

Hopheads everywhere rejoiced! They broke out in a chorus of “hallelujah!” Finally, their hazy prayers were answered!

And just to make the juicy deal even sweeter, Stone added Fear. Movie. Lions. to their regular lineup — locals never have to go without the hazy hop candy again!

This resinous juicebomb is so good that if you’re lucky enough to find it in your local bottleshop, definitely grab yourself a couple cans. But if you’re not one to take chances when it comes to finding great beer, than we’ve got you covered.

Loaded with citrus-drenched Mosaic and tropical Laurel Hops, this 8.5% ABV DIPA is swimming in layers of juicy pineapple, ripe papaya, and tangy lime. Waves of honeydew and bright stonefruit crash on the palate, giving way to Stone’s particular brand of grapefruit resin and hop bitterness. A final hint of earthy berry appears to balance the brew’s bite, and every sip will leave you saying, “oh my, that’s delish.”
