About This Beer
This is Stonefruit Symphony, Alesong’s ode to Oregon’s bountiful orchards where the trees drip with prized produce.
To craft this Barrel Aged Sour, the brewers first hand-pitted ripe, locally grown peaches and nectarines. Then they combined all that fruit with their tart, barrel-aged Ale, and allowed it to referment in French oak.
The resulting brew sings with a sweet and subtly sour drinkability, with soaring notes of ripe peach and bright nectarine. And because no two of Alesong’s small-batch sippers are ever the same, this is the first and last time to snag a sip of this beautiful, bountiful brew!
Tasting Notes
A rising crescendo of succulent peaches builds waves of lush, tangy flavor. Honeyed notes of dark and light-fleshed nectarines rise up in a sultry, sweet harmony. The tangy, golden Sour base brings a bright, puckering staccato, smoothed out by the warm melody of French oak barrel-aging.
