I have been trying to get a hold of this for years and lives up to the expectations. Sweet, viscous mouth feel, plum, and mellow bourbon taste. Reasonably affordable if I lived in Chicago I'd been in trouble. Glad I have 3 more.

Excellent dark fruit and slight sweetness. Well crafted barleywine that aged well in the bourbon barrels.

Pours translucent brown with no head. Big sweet boozy nose hints at brown sugar and whiskey. Flavor is intense with more booze and dark sugar. Hints of vanilla, oak, bourbon and pecan. Big warming alcohol in finish.
