There was nothing better than strawberry milk day at school. No one would warn you, but when you saw the pink lettering peeking through the sea of boring blue 2%, it was time to start throwing some elbows to lay claim to your carton.

A rush of that same adrenaline-fueled giddiness came roaring back when I saw that 4 Noses was re-releasing their Strawberry Velvet Milkshake IPA — I can’t help it, that creamy, strawberry milk lust runs deep!

The brewers loaded this Milkshake IPA with tart and rich strawberry purée, real vanilla beans, creamy lactose, AND a heavy dose of dry-hopping for a balanced, hop-forward dank pine finish. It’s like the strawberry milk of my childhood dreams, but with all the grown-up hoppiness and 6.5% ABV I love in an IPA.
