A Note on This Beer
In my opinion, Kölsch is a criminally underappreciated style. I love the stuff!
It’s a great football beer, it’s wonderful for sipping after a long day of work, and it’s so crisp and refreshing that it really hits the spot while you’re raking leaves or shoveling snow.
We only get a handful of brews in this style every year at Tavour, so we always try to source them from breweries we LOVE. Breweries we know will knock it out of the park.
Virginia’s Adroit Theory is one of those breweries.
The metal-head brewers at Adroit are known for bold flavors, awesome beards, and beers that regularly sell out in presale before they’re even canned.
If you’ve been lucky enough to taste one of these ultra-limited brews, you already know how awesomely gnarly these dudes can be. But now and then, everybody needs a little break from being super hardcore. Even the diabolical craft fiends at Adroit.
That’s why they’ve gotten in touch with their lighter side with today’s Strictly For My Grind Kölsch.
This stuff is everything a Kölsch should be: it’s light, crisp, ultra-refreshing, and replete with soft maltiness, subtle citrus, and apricot flavors. Add in the crushable 5.1% ABV and you’ve got one delicious day-drinking beer!
Because if you’re going to start sucking down brews while it’s still light outside, you need a beer that won’t put you to bed. And this true-to-style example is ideal for satisfying all your sports-watching, snow-shoveling, post-skiing needs.
So go ahead, get in touch with your lighter side with Strictly For My Grind: made for those days when the party gets started early.
*Serve ice cold for maximum refreshment, allow to warm slightly for fuller flavors.
