About This Beer
Inspired by the delectable babkas made by their Brooklyn neighbors at Mekelburg’s, Grimm crafted a rich Imperial Milk Stout with the same flavors as the famously chocolatey loaves.
The brewers infused their full-bodied, double-mashed base with toasted cacao nibs and vanilla, then finished it with a pinch of salt to bring out its delicious pastry flavors.
Tasting Notes
Each extra-velvety quaff ripples with layers of fudgy chocolate and slightly-sweet, bready malts. Roasty hints of coffee and molasses notes add complexity and depth. And all that decadence hides a generous 12% ABV.
