About This Beer
This Imperial Stout pours black as the ink it’s named after and unleashes aromas of burnt sugar, nutty cacao, and top shelf spirits.
Tasting Notes
On the sip, rich chocolate notes collide with decadent crème brûlée tones from additions of vanilla, while a roasty undercurrent of malt plays perfectly off a hint of sweetness. Bourbon barrel aging imparts top-shelf whiskey notes and a subtle kiss of wood spice on the back end, while a bold 13% ABV leaves the silky smooth finish with just the right amount of warmth.

I definitely get the crème brûlée with the burnt sugar with the vanilla bean the bourbon barrels definitely made it that much better

Burnt sugar blends well with the bourbon barrel-aging. Chocolate notes support the stout base.
