About This Beer
Grimm canned the sensation of a trek through the forest when they made Super Spruce.
The brewers dialed up the Gose’s resinous notes by layering the lightly salted Sour with Chinook Hops and spruce tips. The trees’ verdant new growth accents the hops’ piney and pithy nuances.
Tasting Notes
Brightly hazy notes of grapefruit breeze past woody conifer tones and subtle, lavender-like florals in this unfiltered brew. Its tartness balances with the spruce and a mineral saltiness to create a refreshing sipper that @Joe F. calls, “One of the more interesting beers I’ve ever had.”

Don’t be GRIMM, because this will definitely SUPER SPRUCE
your spirits. It’s (a) solid Gose!

there’s a hint of spruce on the aftertaste but it tastes more like lime

nice tartness and saltiness with the gose style, I don’t pick up much of the spruce however

Spruce-y and salty as advertised. Would have liked to see a little more spruce character though

I loved the hopped up gose! The bitterness of the hops and the sea salt made for an earthy drinking experience. Would absolutely drink again.

Light, piney aroma. Nice tartness without being too sour. Just a bit of saline and some nice earthy spruce tips coming in right at the end. Real nice.
