About This Beer
Fonta Flora started with an Amber Ale made from locally-grown barley and a dash of caramel malt. After a first fermentation using their favorite house Ale yeast, the team refermented Supper Table atop loads of delectable North Carolina sweet potatoes. Finally, they aged the brew on a thoughtful blend of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, and vanilla.
Tasting Notes
Pour a glass, and rich, earthy nuances of sweet potato custard and peppery spice will delight your senses. Pumpkin pie-like aromas lead you into smooth, crisp quaffs flowing with balanced bursts of caramel and chai. Pops of ginger, cardamom, and vanilla linger after the dry finish, inviting you back for more.
