Specifically, Sweets - Cherry Chocolate from Montana’s Mountains Walking. This scrumptious Sour is inspired by the decadent treats at one of Bozeman’s best-kept secrets, Wild Crumb Bakery.

To make this delicious pastry beer, the brewers packed it with brown sugar, lactose and a whopping 55 lbs of tart cherry purée per barrel! Then, they conditioned it with organic toasted cocoa nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans.

Each succulent sip is like biting into a boozy cherry cordial. You’ll get a burst of berry juice that oozes into your mouth, followed by a delectable, rich chocolate finish.

This could have been a good stout perhaps. But it tastes like a bad sour. Yes, there is chocolate and there is cherry... But it doesn't work. Smells like bad chocolate and it tastes the same.

Strong chocolate flavor with tartness and fruitiness. Don't taste cherry. Bitterness from chocolate lingers and is not pleasant.

The lactose aroma hits a little to hard, like sour milk. The cherry chocolate flavor is fun, but it's too sour to balance with the chocolate. Great idea that needs some fine tuning.

Was NOT expecting this to be as amazing as it turned out to be. Definitely not big on the sour/tart scale (which isn’t my jam much anyway). The vanilla bean really pulls the tart from cherries back which is a nice surprise.

I didn’t enjoy this beer at all. This doesn’t mean it was a bad beer though. It definitely meets the style of a cherry Berliner. The chocolate was just to over bearing for myself

This is the perfect beer. It’s like having the most delicious drink for dessert. It tastes like a cherry-filled chocolate bar. It is so incredibly well-balanced. This would most definitely be Willy Wonka’s beer of choice.
