About This Beer
If you’re wondering how Jester King created this exceptional Barrel Aged Farmhouse Ale, be warned: things get a little complicated. The brewers truly went above and beyond to craft this one!
First, they took the second use raspberries from their Atrial Rubicite, and used that fruit to craft a brew called La Vie en Rose. Then, they took the blackberries from their Nocturn Chrysalis and used them for a batch of their highly-rated Grim Harvest. They aged both brews in Balcones whiskey barrels (Grim for about 6 months, and La Vie for a little over a year) then blended them into this 7.9% ABV love letter to fruited Farmhouse Ales.
