When food blogger Erika Diama was missing the ube beer she enjoys drinking in the Philippines, she mentioned it to her friends at Sig. The brewers replied, “We could make that here!”
So Erika introduced the crew to some of her favorite examples of the purple Asian sweet potato, and together they set to work! The team infused a clean Golden Ale base with ube and coconut for a crisp refresher inflected with irresistible nuances of earthy vanilla and a subtle tropical nuttiness.
