About This Beer
To craft it, the River North crew teamed up with their friends at Burns Family Artisan Ales and aged an opulent Imperial Stout base in Talnua Distillery single pot still whiskey barrels.
Tasting Notes
Rich molasses and brown sugar notes cascade through the front of the sip. Roasty malts and nutty espresso follow, then give way to a subtle kiss of oaky bourbon on the velvety finish. Just keep an eye out for the well-hidden 13.8% ABV if you plan on doing any math problems later.

Nice molasses and caramel notes. Good whiskey aging that enhances the stout.

Flavor bomb, as per usual from the River North crew. This one leans into the sweeter side of things, which I wasn’t loving, but I still gladly drank the whole thing.
