About This Beer
The Haze legends at Anchorage loaded this luscious stunner with so much Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe Cryo, Galaxy, and Citra, you might convince yourself you’re sipping on some dank tropical juice. Hazy Chico yeast and a double dry hopping of Strata, Nelson Sauvin, and NZ Cascade only add to the succulent flavors, accenting them with a hint of bitterness.
But make no mistake — at 12% ABV, this is definitely BEER!
Tasting Notes
Enticing fruit cup aromas brim out of every amber pour. Sip it slowly, and frosty white grape, pineapple, and berry nuances spill into orange-mango waves with every pillowy swig. Refreshing notes of pine and pepper build as you continue to drink, deliciously contrasting with the bright nectar.

Definitely has a boozy profile and its pretty bitter, yet it still has a smooth, clean, and flavorful finish

great

Creamy head, apricot juice appearance, resinous hops aroma, piney taste, silky mouthfeel, a lingering bitterness, and a slight alcohol burn in the finish, the hops really covers the 12% ABV.

floral, malty. the way an ipa was meant to be

big banger of an old school with a berry smash of new school. beautiful done.

Perplexed. This one is very “anti-anchorage” - heavy handed booze (well, it’s a Quad…) lighter on the juice, bitter, etc. I personally would not repeat, but I value the attempt.

sweet brash and pleasant

Rich and resiny on the nose. Really deep, hoppy flavors with lots of booze, but not much brightness. Good, but I expected something a little softer and sweeter.

Aromas of fruit punch. Full mouthfeel, some booziness, but not a ton. Complex flavor profile. Some citrus, mango, berry, pine. Really tasty, but dangerously drinkable.

aptly named, basically an early 2000s unbalanced high IBU west coast style ipa. pretty harsh

That was not a good tasting beer maybe it’s because it was 12% definitely not a repeat glad I only got one I’ve never need this again

Not sure how to feel about this. It’s harsh. A bit too harsh for me. Perhaps I need to lay off the super hard QIPAs.

solid strong IPA

Big strong malty/boozy/bitter aroma and flavor. More American Barleywine than QIPA. Boozy finish. 🇮🇱🇺🇸
