A Note on This Beer
In the 1994 movie ‘Forrest Gump’, there’s an iconic scene where Bubba waxes poetic about the hundreds of ways to enjoy shrimp — or, as he calls it, “the fruit of the sea.”
And, that’s how passionate I feel about That’s My Boat, today’s deliciously refreshing New England IPA from Stellwagen Beer Co! It goes with everything: beer-battered fish, beer bread, beer cheese, beer gumbo . . . you get the picture.
The brewers crafted this hazy juicebomb with Galaxy and Citra Hops, for notes of sweet, ripe peaches, juicy pineapples, and succulent citrus. A malt blend of two-row barley, malted oats, and wheat adds a velvety mouthfeel and a hint of creamy vanilla.
Even though Stellwagen’s only been open for two years, they’ve had shoutouts in the Boston Globe and Eater for their hop mastery!
Plus, their delicious brews like That’s My Boat have earned quite the fan following:
- “Absolutely KILLER beer!” @cmeservey95
- “Love it! . . . I had to bump up my rating as I kept drinking!” @Kristin W.
- “Stellwagen is killing it!” @Gorie F.
Today, you don’t have to take a road trip out to Massachusetts — or brave a storm at sea — to get in on this fruity goodness. We’ve managed to catch a few cans of That’s My Boat right here!
But, you may want to grab yours quick, ‘cause we’ve got less than 33 cases of this hopjuice to go around!
