Overall, the beer tastes great. The sour cuts through the sweetness and I found it a god mix. However, it is thick and 16 oz is way way way way too big of a serving. This should be shared with friends in 4 oz tastings. The lactose takes over at the end and just ruins it.

So so good!! Definitely more berry than French toast. But you still will get a little maple syrup/cinnamon taste here and there. Loved this one.

Big tart blackberry taste in the front and smooth sweet maple cuts through at the finish. Wish there was more wheat taste to bring it all together.

Imagine walking into iHop and ordering a mountain of French toast and you ask the wait staff for the “special”blackberry syrup! It has a sour base initial taste, but is then taken over by the thickness of the fruit, and finishes with heavy syrup overtones.

This one is gnarly but pretty good. Definitely taste a little syrup and felt like I’m drinking French toast. It’s wild and I like it!

Nauseatingly thick for something so sour. Maybe the fruit in mine went bad? Had an interesting finish - slight maple taste but with a sting on the back end. Not sure if I’d buy again.

Ok. So this one was pretty amazing, but there was no "toast" flavor. I was expecting a "pastry sour" to have notes of oats or burn wheat but none of that. Great beer, but not French Toast...
