A Note on This Beer
Heaps of Hops: Loaded with Citra, Mosaic, Sabro, and Simcoe! Full of Flavor: Big notes of drippy peach and tropical mango swirl around blasts of resinous pine. Magical Mouthfeel: Hazy and pillowy soft, like floating on a cloud.
Barrier Brewing first opened its doors back in 2010 in the sleepy town of Oceanside, New York.
And since then, they survived a hurricane, took home the top prize at the Best Brew in New York Competition, and collaborated with just about every brewery under the sun!
Seriously, their collab crew includes stateside legends J. Wakefield, Other Half, and Finback, as well as international powerhouses like Mikkeller and Garage Beer Co.
In other words, these guys have built their reputation on teaming up with some of the most coveted names in craft.
Now, almost 10 years later, it’s time to say thanks. With beer, of course!
Which is why Barrier crafted The Great Experiment IPA series! These limited-releases honor all the brewing buddies that helped launch them to the top of the New York craft scene and earn shoutouts from Draft Mag, Thrillist, and even Forbes as a “Must Try.”
And today’s Volume 6: Courage combines the hoppy talents of three heavy hitters.
There’s Mumford, the California masters heralded as one of the Best Breweries in Los Angeles by CBS, Eater LA, and the New York Times. Track Brewing Company ranked in the Top 25 Breweries in England on Untappd. And Dry & Bitter Brewing Company, the #8 Brewery in Denmark on UT.
So go ahead, load up on a few cans of today’s worldly brew, and experience first-hand the skill that put Barrier on top. Of the world, that is.
Rated 4.10 on Untappd from the lucky few who’ve snagged a taste!
