About This Beer
For 49th edition, the Evil Twin NYC craft wizards started with a rich Stout aged for 35.5 months in Willett bourbon barrels. Then they blended it with fresh Barleywine before conditioning it on organic Ecuadorian cacao nibs and Tahitian vanilla beans.
Tasting Notes
The end result is a treasure worthy of Smaug’s hoard. Decadent espresso and baker’s chocolate tones cascade through every quaff with notes of whiskey caramel and raisin just underneath. Hints of vanilla oak finer than mythril swirl throughout. Careful though — the 12.8% ABV is better cloaked than someone wearing the one ring!
