The Great Northern Barrel Aged Series 53

In the fall of 2024, Evil Twin NYC released the very first “Winter Version” of their iconic Great Northern Barrel Series. To make it, the brewers blended two incredible Stouts, each aged in oak for a whopping 32 months — one in Blis Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrels and the other in Willett Bourbon Barrels. That showstopper earned a mind-boggingly high 4.50 Untappd rating. Here’s the kicker: they didn’t completely empty barrels. And in 2025, they’re releasing the same blend, only it’s NOW been aged for a total of 44 months. Plus, they conditioned it all on toasted coconut, cocoa, and cinnamon for even more deliciousness!
