About This Beer
Sipping The Holy Hermit is about as close to experiencing Nirvana as I’m likely to get. When this Citra and Amarillo Hop-soaked brew hits my taste buds, it’s practically transcendental!
As notes of tangerine and peach flow across my palate, I slip into a state of blissful relaxation. When the flavors shift towards tropical mango and pineapple, I feel all the stress of the day melt away. Finally, a bit of malty, graham cracker-like sweetness on the finish reminds me just how delicious life can be. In that moment, I am one with the hops.
Tasting Notes
A super fluffy body showcases big flavors of peach and tangerine. Notes of mango and pineapple follow, ending with a malty, graham cracker-like sweetness. Just watch out for that 8.5% ABV — the brewers hid it so well, it’s likely to sneak up on you!

Apparently there is an ‘original hermit’ but this is a wholly jacked up version. First sip caught me off guard with what a assume is a buzzy bitter Amarillo influence. Leveled off mid way, and score adjusted. H Cow.
