Listen, there’s no denying the fact that I was a huge Star Trek fan growing up. Like, major Trekkie status.

Every week, you’d find me glued to the television set, my face just inches from the screen so I didn’t miss a minute of the Enterprise crew and their dilithium crystal-fueled action. 

So, when I heard that the flavor-explorers and GABF Gold Medalists at MobCraft were dreaming up a Star Trek-themed, banana bread-inspired Stout, logic dictated that I snag a small stash for our members. 

Because, as the great Spock once said: “The Kneads of The Bread Outweigh the Needs of the Few…” 

Wait, that’s not right. 

I must have taken a few too many sips of today’s beer and that sneaky 8.3% ABV got me all mixed up. That’s actually the name of this brand-spankin’ new Imperial Stout, brewed with whole bananas, real peanut butter, and oodles of rich cacao nibs.

What I believe the Vulcan Science Officer actually said was, “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.” 

And, frankly, after a few sips of this boozy brew’s liquified banana bread topped with warm peanut butter-like flavors, I couldn’t agree more — it absolutely needs to be experienced by as many of you as possible. 

Which is why I hopped in my transporter and brought back the only stash of this limited-edition, one-time-only recipe leaving Wisconsin. 

So, call up every Stout slingin’, Star Trek-lovin’ buddy you know and invite ‘em over to engage in this Galaxy-Class Starship...er, beer. Just make sure you have a few extra cans on hand. 

That way, you’ll be prepared when the inevitable “Kirk vs. Picard” debate breaks out. Nothing calms down Star Trek geeks like Dessert Stouts.
